Have you ever noticed that you rarely see a full grown Buck (male deer) eating on the side of the road as you do Does (female deer)? Jeff Sturgis, in his article "Buck and Doe Bedding Locations..." (Feb. 2019), states "Mature bucks HATE high traffic stress areas. Right there that eliminates most buck bedding areas from being located between the food source and where the does are bedding." Jeff continues by interjecting that Doe herds, "As long as that food source remains active, and the appropriate cover secure…there is no need to change outside of weather extremes. Also, because of the amount of stress the herd gets used to on a daily basis, I have found they will accept many typical non hunting people movements as well, such as roads, houses, farming activities, etc. " (2019) Therefore explaining that where there is or the possibility of high stress, the mature male deer is rarely found eating or sleeping in that place. Fully grown Bucks are mostly found in peaceful environments. They stay under deep cover and only come near the bedding of Does for love and food. This is the secret and security to their kingdom; LOVE & FAITHFULNESS.
The King needs and looks for security just as well as the woman who will be his Queen. The King looks for a safe place where he can find peace, love, rest, trust, and faithfulness.
He looks for a place to dwell and set up his kingdom where its grandeur can be enjoyed by the woman he loves, supports, and fights for daily in some capacity, with the possibility of death. (See Ephesians 5:22-33)
Love is...
[4] Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud [5] or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged.
Love is Long-suffering and Gentle. It should always desire and accept God's plan over selfish desires. Never willing to remain in conflict or holding grudges. Simply put, PEACE is the answer.
[6] It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out.
Love is Truth & Firm. Correction is Love. It produces the necessary components for love to abide. Those who are able to be corrected or redirected will thrive in life.
Proverbs 27:3-6 NLT states [3] A stone is heavy and sand is weighty, but the resentment caused by a fool is even heavier. [4] Anger is cruel, and wrath is like a flood, but jealousy is even more dangerous. [5] An open rebuke is better than hidden love! [6] Wounds from a sincere friend are better than many kisses from an enemy.
[7] Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.
Love is Firm. Other people, friends, family, and even your spouse may fight against your stance on the truth of a matter or situations, but your consistency in God’s word and will for your lives will overshadow the hardness of their heart, and the Lord will be pleased.
[8] Prophecy and speaking in unknown languages and special knowledge will become useless. But love will last forever!
Love is Unconditional. This type of love is called Agape in the Greek. It is defined as a selfless love. It is the love Jesus has shown for all mankind and is the answer how we should stand concerning His word and this life in all things. When everything else passes away, unconditional love will still abide.
Love is…
